 WEATHER


Balloons are, by nature, temporary items: Although DETAILS EXAGGERATED EVENTS AND BALLOONS. uses only the finest quality balloons, some balloons will occasionally deflate sooner than expected and will also be adversely affected by wind, rain, rough handling, sunlight and other uncontrollable factors. We CANNOT guarantee that balloons will remain perfect and intact when used outdoors. Most outdoor decor is still subject to popping, “frosting” or fogging/oxidation of the colors, and/or movement from the wind.

INCLEMENT WEATHER


Details Exaggerated Balloons, LLC shall not be responsible should weather conditions make it impossible to set up décor service (as described in this agreement). This includes, but not limited to strong winds, rain or snow storms. DETAILS EXAGGERATED BALLOONS, LLC will do its best to be flexible with providing decor alternatives. It is clearly understood that there will be no refunds or discounts for loss, breakage or failure to produce due to factors outside and beyond our control. 

MAINTENANCE PROGRAM


Maintenance program fees exist for the clients who want to ensure their balloons look great over a period of days. Maintenance program fees are additional cost and the cost depend upon the size of the job. With a maintenance program, DETAILS EXAGGERATED EVENTS AND BALLOONS WILL RETURN to your site to repair or replace latex or mylar balloons that have deflated or popped. The MP will only repair or replace a minimal amount of balloons. The MP is not designed to replace the entire balloon display(s). 

STRIKE


 Striking is simply the popping of balloons If the DETAILS EXAGGERATED EVENTS AND BALLOON team strikes your balloons, there will be a $35 per structure fee. This option will be discussed during the consultation and built into your initial invoice.

WHEN SHOULD I PLACE MY ORDER?


Once you know you want balloons as a part of your décor, please be prepared to place your order immediately as supplies may need to be ordered for your event.

DO YOU DELIVER?


Yes, we do. Delivery fees depend on the delivery location and time of day.  

CANCELLATION POLICY


You may cancel at any time. However, a cancellation fee may apply if we purchased supplies to build your decor, started working on your décor or turned away other clients to reserve a spot on our schedule to accommodate your event. If an event is cancelled one of the following fees ap plies
  • 10% Cancellation Fee for orders cancelled MORE than 14 days in advance of event date.
  • 25% Cancellation Fee for orders cancelled LESS than 14 days in advance of event date, OR
  • 50% cancellation fee for orders cancelled LESS than 7 days in advance of event date
  • 60% cancellation fee for orders cancelled LESS than 6 days in advance of event date 
Refunds must be requested via email ONLY and will be processed within 14 business days from the time of receipt of the request.

CAN YOU BLOW UP BALLOONS I PURCHASED SOMEWHERE ELSE?


Yes, we can, however, we will not guarantee the quality of the balloons nor will we be able to offer a discount on your overall décor if we use your balloons. We prefer to use our balloons that are quality latex made for decorators. 

HOW LONG DO BALLOONS LAST?


Helium filled balloons - can last week’s with Hi-float. Hi-float requires a small extra charge per balloon. Without hi-float, balloons normally last 12-18 hours indoor. 

Air filled balloons - kept indoors may last longer than your desire. Balloons used outdoors are not guaranteed to last any specific amount of time as weather and changes in temperature affect the lifespan of the balloons. 

COVID 19 


We are open! And ready to drop off your balloon deliveries and install your balloon yard art.

Due to ongoing precautionary Covid-19 measures, we are happy to offer Balloon Yard Art Displays. These outdoor balloon installs are the best way to share your celebration with your neighbors/community. They are perfect for drive-by Birthday Parades, Birth Announcements, Happy Anniversary Surprises, Welcome Home Greeting, Congratulating Grads and so much more!  

With safe and contactless setups, we’ll help you highlight that special someone in your life in style! 

DECOR EQUIPMENT


All re-usable equipment, including but not limited to frame, lighting, poles, fabric, etc., are the property of DETAILS EXAGGERATED BALLOONS, LLC and must remain onsite for pickup at a specified time and date. The client is responsible for all losses due to theft, vandalism, misplacement, or damage. If our equipment is damaged, misplaced, or stolen, the client agrees to be billed for the repair or replacement cost of the item(s). 

We use professional equipment and material as intended for its particular purpose within all designs. To limit your risk of damage we recommend that all decor and items remain in the position and location they are ordered for, installed in or placed in. Please do not use or place any decor designed for indoor use outdoor or outside of covered 4-wall framed structures.

DETAILS EXAGGERATED EVENTS AND BALLOONS will need to return to your site after your event to pick up balloon equipment. Balloon equipment could be balloon bases, balloon poles, centerpiece bases, vases, tables, chairs etc. Pickup will usually occur between 1-3 days after your event. Coordination of pickup is discussed at our initial consultation. Fees will apply for missing and damaged equipment.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER?


Once your order is complete, an invoice will be emailed to you.
  • FOR INDIVIDUALS: Your payment can be made online via a debit/credit card.
  • FOR SCHOOLS, NON-PROFITS AND CORPORATIONS: It may be necessary to process a check for payment, If a payment cannot be made before the event date, a signed contract will be required.
  • Once your event is paid for, that time slot is reserved for you and supplies for your event are ordered. This is when we commit to your event.
  • Changes to an order (colors, size, and style) cannot be made after invoice is finalized. However, you can order additional décor, other than what is stated on the invoice. 
  • Payments Accepted: (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or AmEx) or via check (drawn on company account only). Please make checks payable to DETAILS EXAGGERATED BALLOONS, LLC.
  • Payments made with credit card includes a 3% non-refundable processing fee.

PAYMENT POLICY


Events booked 21or more days out, may opt to pay 50% of the invoice with the remaining balance due 7 days prior to the date of the event.  

Full invoice payment is due when event is less than 21 days out. 

  • Failure to make payments by the due date, may result in any or all of the following: 
    • Invalidation & removal OF applicable discounts, promotions, complimentary services, etc.
    • Release of event delivery/setup date and time.
  • Delivery/Set-up/ Pick-up:
Access to event location must be secured and confirmed by the client to ensure timely setup. DETAILS EXAGGERATED BALLOONS, LLC cannot be held responsible for delays (or incomplete décor) if a reasonable amount of time is not allowed to complete delivery/setup services. In the event of delays in completing the Set-Up or Pick-Up as planned, caused by client vendors… caterer, baker, venue, DJ, band, wedding party, etc. a minimal additional fee of $50.00 per Details Exaggerated Balloons, LLC staff member will be charged.
  • Onsite Changes:
Our goal is to make you and our balloons look great. If we are unable to complete the decor as designed and planned due to unforeseeable circumstances at the event venue, or due to client preference, we will assess a change fee if we incur any additional labor or material expense because of such changes.
  • Material Guarantee:
All materials are guaranteed to be as specified by the manufacturer. If a supplier discontinues a product or manufacturer changes material type, DETAILS EXAGGERATED BALLOONS, LLC reserves the right to make any last-minute changes (at our discretion based on availability of materials at time of the event). We reserve the right to substitute an item of like kind and quality. 

 SITE VISITS


We prefer to see the event space, in person, before we can commit to & confirm your event installation - Site visits are $75 (non-refundable) and are applied to your total balance due. 

SAVE THE DATE


We offer a $250 Save the Date fee; This too is a non-refundable deposit that both covers your site visit cost and is applied to your total balance due (and holds your date a course).

RUSH ORDERS


If you need balloon decor in less than 48 hours, you gotta hustle, babe. There’s a ton of moving parts to this process, and we can’t just bang ‘em out by the hour.

We don’t hold dates until you pay… and we won’t babysit ya’ll.. We can only do so many in a day. If someone else pays for your date first, it’s not your date anymore. We really hate telling folks we can’t do their event anymore when this happens… so please, please pay your bill ASAP... please.
